OUR MAJESTIC REEF: LOVE BEACH

Image
Love Beach is located west of Cable Beach & is no more than $2 dollars per person on the " jitney buses " My first rule on using the jitneys is ALWAYS ask the driver if he or she is going to where you want to go!! I have seen many tourists blissfully jump on the bus only to discover miles down the road that the bus isn't going where they wanted to go :( Also try and know your cardinal directions to where it is that you are going (this can save a lot of frustration) for instance, if Atlantis is west of your position only try flagging down buses going west-I know this is an oversimplification but again, you must always speak up and never assume anything.. Back to Love Beach-Bring a mask & snorkel with you if you can(this is the bare minimum) preferably bring fins as well and a " rash guard shirt to dive with. The rash guard will keep you from getting sunburned! You can also rent a kayak at Love Beach (contact me for details) the rates can vary wildly(...

Normans Cay & The Curtiss C-46 Wreck

Image
The Island of Normans Cay & an underwater relic from its notorious past..  Which just so happens to be a fabulous snorkeling spot! The best way to get here (if you don't have a boat) is via Trans Island Airways based in Nassau, Bahamas. TIA has two Cessna Seaplanes - The deluxe model-2016 Cessna Caravan EX(holds 9 passengers) & a Cessna 206 (holds 3 passengers) either way is a once in a lifetime experience.

Whatever the day brings, there is no better place to start and end than Love Beach!
